Program Overview

Curious Minds workshops are one-day experiences that expose students to a variety of opportunities and offer them the ability to acquire skills in many areas (creative writing, cooking, cake decorating, puppetry, dance, theater, robotics etc.) in order to expand their horizons and lift their level of creativity and inquiry.

Curious Courses are workshops that extend from four to six weeks. We offer the following courses:

Insight Book Club: Follow us along as we learn the art and skill of responding to literature in a fun and creative way. Students will learn the three amazing strategies to improve their reading comprehension and five powerful tools on how to respond to literature. This workshop will have your child begging to read and respond to literature and propel them into the league of extraordinary thinkers.

Writer’s Workshop: Creating juicy stories and original characters, kids will leave this workshop invigorated and excited about writing. This course takes students on a journey of personal expression by teaching them the art and skill of uncovering the story within, character development, and writing with depth. As students learn to expand their voice and cultivate their expression of thought through their stories. Stories will begin to bubble from their pen and flow from their heart.

The Art of Thought: This thought provoking course will whisk your child on a journey of analysis and evaluation through a carefully designed “Mind Trail” that will instantly raise their level of evaluation, judgment, and other core thinking skills. The convention will give your child the strategies and tools taught in the Level 1 Dynamic Thinking Course.

Math Congress: Imagine a room filled with mathematical minds, imaginers, ingenious crafts boys and girls all working with numbers and real-world problems. Students are invited to travel along a mathematical excursion to solve problems. They will learn the art of defending their math strategies and other thinking tools to help them generate new strategies and mathematical schemas for solving problems. This course is secretly called The Amazing Problem Solver.
